Missing Our Friend...
Thank you for the gift of you, Don Bratcher!
Don Bratcher
MAY 22, 1942 – OCTOBER 15, 2020

Don Bratcher was our first employee. I knew him since I was a kid. We will all miss him very much
and appreciate his years of service to the company—and for helping turn my dream into a viable business!
Don Bratcher was born in California and grew up in Colorado. After serving in the Navy, he settled in Bremerton where he and my dad became great friends. They both coached sports, fished together, and enjoyed their families and grandkids. Don was always interested in electronics, and he had a real talent with computers. When I first came up with the idea for Artwork Source in 2002, Don volunteered to build me a website. That was the start of our working relationship.
For the last 15 years of his life, Don worked as our valued programmer/web master—not only for Ignition Drawing, but for all the companies as Velociterra has grown. Don really enjoyed his work and was so dedicated, he would work from wherever he traveled, even once on vacation! We like everyone on our staff to enjoy their vacations and leave work behind, but this was an exception. While Don was away, our network went down with China. Because we’re an international manufacturing and services company, that connection was everything! Thanks to Don working around the clock, he got us back online and the system up and running. A true soldier, he performed countless tasks like that for all the companies.
Don was always willing to step up, an amazing problem solver, and absolutely foundational to the success of this business.
Thank you, Don for your years of friendship, service, and dedication to Ignition Drawing and to Velociterra. ~ Cory Dean
